Weight Watcher Update

I have officially lost 10.5 pounds! I am 140 and very excited to hit the 130's. I realized today, this whole time I have miscalculated my weight. I didn't account for one pound that I had lost. So when I looked at the scale today, I saw 140 and thought "That should be ten pounds total and I thought I had only lost eight pounds so far." So, I was very happy about that!

I will be posting a picture soon since I have dropped a pant size.

YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Lily's First Piano Lesson

Lillian and I sat down one day to play the piano. I often sit her in the high chair next to the piano and Vincent and I will play songs and sing and to her. She loves the music. So I thought I would let her get some hands on experience.
She is learning "Twinkle Twinkle" and likes it because she watches a DVD called Baby Mozart that plays this song. She sat for about 10 minutes and played with me. That is forever to a 5 month old.

Who knows.... Maybe we have a concert pianist on our hands?

Weight Watcher Update

I lost another pound and a half for a total of 8 and a half pounds. That puts me at 141. I am almost to my next bracket... the 130's!!!!

My 10% goal is 135 and my lifetime weight watcher goal is 125. I'm not too far.

Yeah!

Chunky Heaven!

Why is it that the more fat on a baby and cellulite the better? I'll tell you why... because it is flippin' ADORABLE!

Lily had her 4 month check up last month and weighed in at almost 16 pounds. She is 5 months from yesterday and I am sure she weighs a little more. Vinny and I love her chunk! Vincent says all the time "Oh I feel like I just want to eat her cheeks." I wonder where he heard that?:)

This is a shot of her scrumptious thighs and "Kankles."

This is a side by side comparison of Lily(left) and Vincent(right) and there plump booties.

All in all, I think Lily is comfortable with her weight and feels like a Barbie Doll.

She is also holding her bottle by herself.

We love you Lillian!!!

A Child's Prayer

"Dear Heavenly Father thank you for this day. Thank you for Dad, Mom, me and Lily bless us to be safe. Help the poor and the sick. I had a horrible day today. I bless that tomorrow I won't have a horrible day. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."

Why exactly his day was horrible is beyond me but apparently it was.

A Happy Halloween and Visitors Too!

Well almost the whole neighborhood made it in this picture. This is a picture taken on Halloween night of Lillian, Vincent, Jauslyn (his cousin), his 4 boy pals, and grandma Robin.
Vincent was supposed to be Superman (I got him the costume and everything) but changed his mind at the last minute and wanted to be Spider man AGAIN. Jausy was a glamour girl. Surprise, surprise:)
My little Lily was a flower. How appropriate!
This was taken at my neighbors house. Halloween is their favorite holiday and they love to deck out every year. It is only a shame that we couldn't join them and resurrect our famous haunted house. For those of you who don't know, we did a haunted house my whole life growing up. It was so much fun and a lot of work. My Mom and Dad spent everyday starting on Oct. 1st setting up. Many family members and friends would pitch in to run it. Tons of people would start driving by just to see if we were doing it that year. We always got huge crowds, Josh even remembers going to the "Haunted House on Ingram Street." I loved to watch grown adults get scared in fact one year a lady peed her pants.

My mom and I set off to downtown Provo on Center Street where the local business would pass out candy. They also set up some games. This was one of them...

How lady like!?!

Go Vinny Go! Actually, he couldn't quite figure it out:)
These were workers from a bridal store passing out candy. We took Eric and Thomas with us as you can see.
After Center St. we went back to the neighborhood to work our street and pick Josh up (he couldn't go until he was done working). We then left to grab a bite to eat and go to a gated community in Pleasant Grove that our friends live near by. It was Amazing! There was this one house that had a haunted garage and when you got to the end, they had EVERY king size candy bar you could possibly buy from Costco for the kids and then had Krispy Kremes for the parents. (Don't worry...I didn't have any:( ) Leave it to Vincent to pick the Kit Kat instead of a king size (for his dad of course) and also at another house, pick a PixiStick out of all the other super yummy candy. Josh laughed and decided next year he was going to teach Vincent how to trick-or-treat the RIGHT way.

Had to stop and enjoy the leaves.

My mom and Jausy got in Hallow's Eve and that night we went to a carnival. It was held in an old gym and there was a haunted maze.

Look Out!

Halloween morning, we went to a pumpkin patch at one of the local farms. It was really fun and we had beautiful weather.

They also had a playground there and Vinny and Jausy had a blast trying to cross the monkey bars. They were both able to cross the whole thing by themselves for their first time. Yeah Vincent!
The next day on Saturday, we all went to Lagoon, a local theme park in Farmington, UT for some family fun. It was their last day to be open and so we wanted to take advantage. Boy was that a great idea. There was hardly any crowds and the weather once again was perfect. It was supposed to rain but didn't so we had cloud cover the whole time and just about walked on to every ride.

For being "starved" Josh's face sure looks healthy:)

Gotta love the swings!
I love this picture because Josh looks hilarious on the little kiddy free fall ride. He said it actually gave you a good drop in your stomach for a kid ride.
Off to outer space...

I's thinkin' Jausy surpassed the height restriction on this one???
And of course...Puff.

Had to take a moment to drive the race cars with dad. Fun stuff! Then off to the vomit ride with Grandma. She is the best sport!
Mom, Dad and Lily sat that one out:)
Then the adults rode a few roller coasters.

On Sunday, we took a drive. It was really cold and rainy. We decided to drive up through the Provo Canyon to Sundance but continue on the road up the mountain. We saw a deer.

I thought if we got high enough up the mountain we would run into snow. We went as far as we could until it started taking us down the other side of the mountain. So, I turned around and was sad that we didn't see snow. Then my mom and I thought we would turn on some Christmas music and I kid you not, the second "Sleighride" came on, it started to snow. We're magic!
It was a gorgeous day and wonderful to see our family.

We hope all of you had an awesome Halloween too.

We Woke Up To Snow!!!

Vincent and I were so excited because we woke up, looked outside and there was snow! For those of you who live in Arizona and don't know what snow is... It is:
* precipitation falling from clouds in the form of ice crystals
* a layer of snowflakes (white crystals of frozen water) covering the ground.
Vincent was beside himself. We have been waiting for snow (that actually sticks to the ground) forever! He immediately wanted to put on his new snow gear and get out there to build a snowman. Unfortunately for him, there wasn't enough snow. So he just ran around.

I couldn't play with Vincent because Lillian had to eat. So she and I just sat on the rocking chair looking out the window when all of a sudden the snow just started to down pore. I ran out to see Vincents reaction and he said "Mom, it was really weird...I said to myself "I wonder what snow tastes like?" and then it started to snow!" He thought he was magic.
Unfortunately, Josh couldn't enjoy the snow with us because he is in Farmington, New Mexico for a work project.
This is the mountain by my house. It is huge and you can see more than half of it is covered by a thick cloud.

My snow covered backyard.
It then started to rain and some of the snow melted. We can't wait for our friends and family to come and enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery Utah has to offer.

I love to wake up every morning and appreciate the beautiful view I have right outside my door.

Vincent's Famous Quotes Part 2

10. "When is Lily going to have breath like mine?" (Vincent said this when we had Lily on a formula that smelled like garlic. It was the worst formula I have ever smelled. One little dribble on her check and she was contaminated for the rest of the day.)

9. "We should have had lunch at the Olive Garden."

8. "Do you know what I'm think-about'n?"

7. "Here you go mom... you got a text."

6. Josh: "Vincent...did you pee your pants?"
Vincent: "It may seeeeeeeem like that because it smells...but I really didn't."

5. "Mom... you better take off this bib because it will be very embarrassing if the boys see."

4.It is 7:30 in the morning and we hear Vincent open the front door. Josh ran up to see what in the world he was doing.
Josh:"Vincent, what are you doing?"
Vincent:"I just wanted to see the beautiful day!"

(Yes this is the view from our porch!)

3.One night we were sitting at the table eating dinner. Lily started to scream at the top of her lungs. So Vincent being the good brother he is, runs to her rescue with the pacifier. When she continues to scream regardless of his efforts he says in a very stressful tone:
"It's not working! What does she want! I don't know what to do!"
We don't either Vincent! :)

2.One day Vincent was playing outside with his 4 friends as I was watching my neighbors two little boys. A young girl named Michelle who is friends with the family was there with me. She ran over to Vincent and the gang to see if they wanted to play freeze tag.
Michelle: "Vincent? Do you guys want to play freeze tag?"
Vincent:"No. You stay there and play with Asher and Mekhi. We are playing boy stuff!"

AND THE NUMBER ONE QUOTE OF THE DAY IS...

1.The following conversation happened between Vincent and I.
Sabrina: "Vincent...what do you want to be when you grow up?"
Vincent: "A rock star."
Sabrina: "What IS a rock star?"
Vincent: "You knooooow...someone who plays an instrument."
Sabrina: "Oh.Well what instrument do you want to play?"
Vincent: "The trumpet!"
