A Happy Halloween and Visitors Too!

Well almost the whole neighborhood made it in this picture. This is a picture taken on Halloween night of Lillian, Vincent, Jauslyn (his cousin), his 4 boy pals, and grandma Robin.
Vincent was supposed to be Superman (I got him the costume and everything) but changed his mind at the last minute and wanted to be Spider man AGAIN. Jausy was a glamour girl. Surprise, surprise:)
My little Lily was a flower. How appropriate!
This was taken at my neighbors house. Halloween is their favorite holiday and they love to deck out every year. It is only a shame that we couldn't join them and resurrect our famous haunted house. For those of you who don't know, we did a haunted house my whole life growing up. It was so much fun and a lot of work. My Mom and Dad spent everyday starting on Oct. 1st setting up. Many family members and friends would pitch in to run it. Tons of people would start driving by just to see if we were doing it that year. We always got huge crowds, Josh even remembers going to the "Haunted House on Ingram Street." I loved to watch grown adults get scared in fact one year a lady peed her pants.

My mom and I set off to downtown Provo on Center Street where the local business would pass out candy. They also set up some games. This was one of them...

How lady like!?!

Go Vinny Go! Actually, he couldn't quite figure it out:)
These were workers from a bridal store passing out candy. We took Eric and Thomas with us as you can see.
After Center St. we went back to the neighborhood to work our street and pick Josh up (he couldn't go until he was done working). We then left to grab a bite to eat and go to a gated community in Pleasant Grove that our friends live near by. It was Amazing! There was this one house that had a haunted garage and when you got to the end, they had EVERY king size candy bar you could possibly buy from Costco for the kids and then had Krispy Kremes for the parents. (Don't worry...I didn't have any:( ) Leave it to Vincent to pick the Kit Kat instead of a king size (for his dad of course) and also at another house, pick a PixiStick out of all the other super yummy candy. Josh laughed and decided next year he was going to teach Vincent how to trick-or-treat the RIGHT way.

Had to stop and enjoy the leaves.

My mom and Jausy got in Hallow's Eve and that night we went to a carnival. It was held in an old gym and there was a haunted maze.

Look Out!

Halloween morning, we went to a pumpkin patch at one of the local farms. It was really fun and we had beautiful weather.

They also had a playground there and Vinny and Jausy had a blast trying to cross the monkey bars. They were both able to cross the whole thing by themselves for their first time. Yeah Vincent!
The next day on Saturday, we all went to Lagoon, a local theme park in Farmington, UT for some family fun. It was their last day to be open and so we wanted to take advantage. Boy was that a great idea. There was hardly any crowds and the weather once again was perfect. It was supposed to rain but didn't so we had cloud cover the whole time and just about walked on to every ride.

For being "starved" Josh's face sure looks healthy:)

Gotta love the swings!
I love this picture because Josh looks hilarious on the little kiddy free fall ride. He said it actually gave you a good drop in your stomach for a kid ride.
Off to outer space...

I's thinkin' Jausy surpassed the height restriction on this one???
And of course...Puff.

Had to take a moment to drive the race cars with dad. Fun stuff! Then off to the vomit ride with Grandma. She is the best sport!
Mom, Dad and Lily sat that one out:)
Then the adults rode a few roller coasters.

On Sunday, we took a drive. It was really cold and rainy. We decided to drive up through the Provo Canyon to Sundance but continue on the road up the mountain. We saw a deer.

I thought if we got high enough up the mountain we would run into snow. We went as far as we could until it started taking us down the other side of the mountain. So, I turned around and was sad that we didn't see snow. Then my mom and I thought we would turn on some Christmas music and I kid you not, the second "Sleighride" came on, it started to snow. We're magic!
It was a gorgeous day and wonderful to see our family.

We hope all of you had an awesome Halloween too.
